About Aatmadeepah Yoga
From an early age I was innately interested in exploring spiritual domains in life – through the teachings of my Grandfather. I earned a Textile Design degree from the Delhi University and worked as a Garment Merchandiser for 3 years.
Studying & practicing yoga for over 10 years has been an ever-evolving way to express my truth, creativity and emotions. This unique experience changed my life and transformed my way to see things so greatly that I naturally felt it was time to give space to a new fresh start.
I continued to deepen my yoga practice by pursuing Masters in Yoga Science at University of Patanjali, Haridwar. It is then, in 2015, that I moved to Chennai and started working with 136.1 Yoga Studio as a Hatha Yoga Teacher followed by playing the role of a Yoga Teacher at few more Yoga Studios.
Post that experience, I decided to take my learnings forward as a Ph.D. Research Scholar from SVYASA, Bangalore. With that, I am a UGC NET qualified for Associate Professor, and holds a 200 hrs certification in Yoga Teacher Training.
Also, I am a certified Su-Jok therapist which is one of the alternative therapies without any side effects.
